Assessed both existing component libraries; Design Pattern Library (DPL) and Digital Marketing Platform (DMP). Alignment and enhancements are required to consolidate into one new design system.

Layout settings for a responsive design utilizes an 8pt grid system that consists of 12 column grid and an 8px baseline grid. The spacing system aligns with the 8px grid and is REM compatible.

The design system is a collection of reusable components, guided by clear standards, that can be assembled together to build any number of pages within the site. Each component meets a specific user interface or interaction need and has been designed to work together for scale, efficiency, and consistency in design.

Optum.com is focused on addressing primary customer behavioral needs and providing information with a clear purpose.

HearSay is an application that teaches and informs people about mental health terminology through definitions and related articles. This product aims to address the terminolgy used when defining mental health and will provide descriptions that address and redirect

the negative language currently being used. Users will be able to access medical and clinical terminology in the glossary section of the application. The product will provide links to relevant articles for users to access and save into a personal customizable library for easy accessibility. Articles can shared with others and saved based on the users discretion.
